I love Kandee Johnson, so I was def pumped to see her collaboration with Too Faced. Too Faced has some amazing products (and undeniably some major misses), but overall, I like the products they push out.
I originally planned to only pick up Banana Pudding Brightening Face Powder. I saw the eyeshadow palette online and thought the shades looked pretty boring and similar to lots of palettes I already had. But after swatching I Want Kandee Candy Eyes Eyeshadow Palette at Ulta, I couldn’t leave it behind. It was gorgeous!
I Want Kandee Candy Eyes Eyeshadow Palette [$45]
The palette comes with 15 shades in a mix of matte, satin, and shimmer formulas. They are sorted into quads which makes it easier to work with if you’re unsure about color pairing.
The packaging is really cute – it’s a pink tin that resembles a candy box. And if I ever hit pan (yeah, right) or de-pot, I can reuse the tin for keepsake items. The eyeshadows really smell like candy, so much that if you’re sensitive to fragrances, I would pass. I love it, though.
The eyeshadows are all quite lightweight and feel pretty smooth on application. There was not a lot of kickup in the shadows, and most blended pretty well without fallout, with a few standouts and a few exceptions.
Sugar Plum is a sparking metallic light-plum with a touch of micro-glitter. It blends easily and is incredibly striking. Sweet Toffee was my ultimate favorite. It’s a coppery brown that’s a bit deeper and shinier than my other coppers, which in my mind makes this unique to my collection. Yes, there is some fallout with this one, so be prepared for that.
Taupe Berry performed pretty poorly for me. It’s a matte gray-taupe that’s difficult to blend. Hot Chocolate was another bad one, but it was easier to work with than Taupe Berry. And I can use Hot Chocolate as a liner since I’m not feeling the shadow.
I am in love with this palette, and if you’re thinking about passing on this, I suggest heading to Ulta and swatching some shades. This palette performs pretty well, and if you don’t have most of these colors in your arsenal, grab this one.

Cute packaging. Lightweight, most [not all] shades blend nicely. Would buy for Sugar Plum and Sweet Toffee alone.
