My drawers and vanity are filled with so many beauty and skincare goodies that when I finish an entire product, that’s cause for celebration! LOL no… not really. But I am proud of myself when I empty an entire bottle of skincare, considering how often I want to try something new, and then something new again.
I finished a number of products in my beauty routine over the last few months and thought it was time for a roundup! I picked 6 products that I think are pretty interesting – 4 are worth a repurchase, 1 is a maybe, and 1 is a definite no.
HAIRBERRY HAIR VITAMINS
I know hair vitamins get a lot of flack, but I actually really liked these. I don’t know if it’s all in my head, but after a month of taking Hairberry, my hair felt thicker and stronger, with less strands falling out when I brush. It could be the Biotin, which is commonly used to help brittle hair and nails. Or it could be I was lacking vitamins in my diet and this helped to make up the difference. Either way, I’m going to continue taking hair vitamins. The Olly Lustrous Hair ones at Sephora look impressive and are $12 less!

SKINN COSMETICS LIP 6X BALM
I’ve already mentioned this in a previous post, but this balm is BOMB! Skinn really knows how to make a lip balm. This stuff lightly plumps, hydrates and keeps lips moist for hours. It’s perfect for wearing alone or under a drying matte lipstick. Will I repurchase? I already have!

PIXI ROSE CAVIAR ESSENCE & ROSE FLASH BALM
If you want glowing, clear skin, combine Pixi Rose Caviar Essence with Rose Flash Balm. I cannot gush enough about this combo. The Essence melts into your skin and doesn’t add any sticky weight. It’s extremely light, but very hydrating. The Balm hydrates and brightens, and it really helps squash the look of fatigued skin. I have oily skin, and neither caused any skin freak outs. In fact, this combo seemed to help control shine overall.
RESTORSEA REJUVENATING DAY CREAM
Smooth skin in a jar. I started using Restorsea after learning more about them during the Cosmoprof North America beauty trade show. Restorsea is a medical-grade line made of non-toxic ingredients. I used this day cream at night and noticed a huge difference in my smile lines instantly. My smile lines are a thorn in my side, so anything that smooths them gets the official BeautieSocial stamp of approval! It’s not thick, and a little goes a long way because this cream spreads very easily. Which is great, because with this pricetag, you want to get as much as you can out of one jar!

HARD NIGHT GOOD MORNING ELIXIR
I loved the feel of this product – how lightweight it was and how quickly it absorbed into my skin – but I cannot rave about it. I don’t know if it helped with anything. It’s supposed to improve skin structure, even skin tone and reduce fine lines. Did it? I finished the entire bottle and didn’t notice a difference. I won’t be buying.

Pixi Rose Caviar Essence and Rose Flash Balm are dope and best if used together. Restorsea is a worthy splurge for younger looking skin. Maybe pass on Hard Night Good Morning Elixir.
