It’s been one month since Cosmoprof North America, and I am still sifting through products I received. I visited so many amazing brands, it’s hard to narrow down which were my favorite stops. I had a list of 15 first but finally FINALLY narrowed it down to 6.
Here are my top 6 beauty brands [based on first-impressions] from Cosmoprof North America in no particular order:
THE BETTER SKIN CO.
Guys, I am pumped for this one. I’ve heard only raves and raves about The Better Skin Co. Mirakle Cream. I finally get to test it out, along with 2 other goodies – Lava Magik cleanser, scrub & mask and Glamour Drops. The drops were created in collaboration with Glamour By Hosway. They sound promising. The drops are supposed to be hydrating, radiance boosting, wrinkle reducing and create a nice canvas for makeup.
FRENCH GIRL ORGANICS
French Girl Organics is a new-to-me line that is 100% vegan and cruelty free. French Girl is an American brand created out of the owner’s love of nature and French heritage. The packaging is simple, but really draws you in. The handmade, luxury products are made with organic, sustainable and wild-crafted ingredients. Honestly, as soon as I saw the word “French,” I was immediately drawn in. My love of France is never-ending and one of my goals is to visit Paris. Even so, I genuinely enjoyed everything I tested, especially their Rose Lip Polish.
REALHER
I’ve seen RealHer on Instagram, but it wasn’t until Cosmoprof that I took a real, hard look at the brand. RealHer was created by a father who wanted to inspire his daughter. He wanted to create a better social environment for her in today’s negative society. Each product comes with an affirmation to remind us that WE are enough. Some of the sayings include I Decide My Destiny and I Am Unstoppable. And as you can see in the photo above, each eyeshadow shade name is also positive – Elevate, Persevere and Succeed just to name a few.
MESAUDA MILANO
Mesauda Milano is an Italian brand that was exhibiting at Cosmoprof since they are trying to break into the US market. They don’t deliver to the US just yet, which is a bummer because I really like these baked products.
GOOD FOR YOU GIRLS
Good For You Girls creates natural and safe skin care products for young girls. The products are gluten free and organic, made without silicones, dyes, or synthetic fragrances. This is the perfect line to help girls develop good skincare habits.
SKINN COSMETICS
This one is easily in the top 6. I visit the Skinn Cosmetics booth every year to learn about their new products and each time, they always blow me away. Each Skinn product is formulated using potent active naturals and without unnecessary water, fillers or expensive packaging. I have never tried a product from Skinn that left me with a negative reaction.
Even though Skinn Cosmetics is known for their skin care, they also make wearable talc-free eyeshadow palettes and other bomb makeup products.
