The quarterly Walmart Beauty Box is a good box, but it isn’t something I get excited about like my monthly ipsy bag or a Birchbox subscription. But I keep subscribing to it because it’s filled with stuff I need and not just want. And it’s just $5.
I travel a lot, so having sample sizes of necessities is must-have. I don’t want to lug a bunch of full size items on weekend trips. This box did not disappoint with travel size essentials.
I got sample sizes of:
Hello Pure Mint Toothpaste
Tresemme Extra Firm Control Hairspray
Plackers Micro Mint Flossers
Body Fantasies Fragrance Vials in Cozy Cotton & Tropical Wish
Gold Bond Radiance Renewal Hydrating Cream
Soo Ae Donkey Milk Sleeping Mask
Shea Moisture Shampoo & Conditioning Packet
Nivea & Olay sample packets
See – not super exciting, but basic essentials.
The Soo Ae mask was the one product I was thrilled to get. Soo Ae is a popular K-Beauty line known for their masks (also sold at Target and Ulta). This overnight masks contains donkey’s milk and extracts of soybean, Japanese yam, and snow mushroom to hydrate and nourish.
I have never tried Body Fantasies, but after getting these sample vials, I’m definitely going to grab a bottle. Tropical Wish smells amazing – fruity and sweet. Cozy Cotton smells like it wants to be fresh laundry, but it’s not there yet. Mixing these together, though, creates a very wearable, not too sweet scent that feels like it costs more than a $6 bottle of Body Fantasies.
Other than Body Fantasies and Soo Ae, everything else went into my travel drawer.
Do you sub to Walmart Beauty Box? What did you get in your box?
Good $5 box filled with mostly necessities. Standouts were Soo Ae Donkey Milk mask and Body Fantasies samples. Definitely buying a bottle of Tropical Wish from Body Fantasies.
