Pixi Skintreats Peel & Polish Review

December 13, 2017 //  by Linda//  Leave a Comment

I’ve been a fan of Pixi Beauty for years. Their products are great and the price point is even better. I use at least two Pixi products every day, and some days I use four or five!

Pixi has been killing it with their skincare game lately. I have 2 serums in my skincare routine, plus a nighttime moisturizer that makes my skin feel amazing. My latest acquisition is their Skintreats Peel & Polish – an “enzyme peel resurfaces for smoother, softer skin, and a healthy looking glow.”

Peel & Polish contains lactic acid, which exfoliates the skin by breaking down and removing the material that binds dead skin cells. Once that dead skin is gone, the softer skin underneath is revealed. Over time, this can help to lighten brown spots and minimize the appearance of wrinkles for more even looking skin.

It’s not drying, since lactic acid also helps moisturize.

I apply this on clean, dry skin. It’s definitely grainy, so you want to use quite a bit to get an even layer on your face. Leave on for 2 minutes, then massage and rinse. It might tingle a bit, more-so if you have sensitive skin, but it won’t sting.

My skin is so freaking soft every time I use this, which right now is about twice a week. And that fresh, exfoliated skin means my serums and moisturizers can sink in so much better.

Honestly, this is probably my favorite skin care item Pixi Beauty has ever created. Yup, even more than Glow Tonic. It works, it smells good, and there is nothing bad I can say about it.

Have you tried Peel & Polish? Tell us in the comments for [+5].

Damn good product. Lactic acid exfoliates skin by breaking down and removing the material that binds dead skin cells. I use it 2x week.
