Tell me this isn’t the most glorious thing your rainbow painted childhood heart has ever seen?! Lisa Frank makeup is here from Glamour Dolls Makeup, a trendy makeup company that features inexpensive products.
Back in February 2017, Glamour Dolls launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring Lisa Frank makeup to life. I backed it and so did 5,934 other people! The products I bought in that campaign are still in production, and I honestly don’t think we’ll get them until closer to summer. Hopefully they’ll be worth the wait. Here is what 2 of the eyeshadow palettes I bought are going to look like:

Since I am super impatient and wanted to get my hands on any Lisa Frank makeup, I grabbed this set from ipsy.com for $10. I’m super bummed I didn’t order 2. The set came with:
- Lisa Frank x Glamour Dolls Angled Blush Brush
- Lisa Frank x Glamour Dolls Blending Brush
- Lisa Frank x Glamour Dolls Bitten & Bronzed Matte Bronzer
- Lisa Frank x Glamour Dolls Shimmer Eyeshadow in Stargazing
(The third brush in the photo was already mine from a previous ipsy glam bag.)
The brushes have too-die-for patterns, making them great collector items. The handles feel pretty sturdy and strong, but the bristles on the angled blush brush feel sparse. I like a denser brush for blush and contour. The brush is fluffy and soft, but too skimpy for my liking.
The blending brush, though, works great. It’s a nice size that fits perfectly in the crease of your eye. I wish it was a tad bit bigger, but that’s just my personal preference. I’m still using this brush.
The bronzer I’m passing on, but keeping it because the packaging is charming. These swatches were done on the inside of my arm, and it’s clear that the bronzer is too light for me.
The big winner of this set is the Lisa Frank eyeshadow in Stargazing. It’s a gorgeous shimmering gold shade with a bronze shift. It’s not a unique shade, but still very alluring nonetheless.
I tried to show the bronze shift in this photo below. It’s definitely prettier in person. The brush swatches were created using Luxie Precision Shader Onyx Brush 239 found here.
This set is no longer available on ipsy, but the eyeshadow and blush brush are available on HotTopic.com.
Lisa Frank makeup is real and I’m freaking out! Collab was created with Glamour Dolls Makeup. Lisa Frank eyeshadow in Stargazing is stunning.
